Macatawa Bay Boat Works was invited by Water Wonderland, the local chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) to display boats at the 2010 Grand Rapids Boat Show.

One of our boats on display, a 1948 Chris Craft 22 foot Custom Sedan restored by MBBW, is pictured above.   (Below) We were honored to have our friend Chris Smith sit in front of one of our boats.  Chris is the grandson of Chris-Craft's founder, Christopher Columbus Smith for whom he was named.  While he was part of Chris-Craft, he was very much involved in the design, development and testing of their new boats.  He continues to be active in the ACBS and shows his boats around the country.

Pictured above is Josephine and Bill Reus, the "Josephine" for whom the boat was named.  They are parents of Jonathan L. Reus, owner of Macatawa Bay Boat Works.  Below, is the  custom interior in blue leather with bird's eye maple by MBBW.

Also on display was a 1959 Century Resorter 16' (not pictured) that was restored by and is still cared for by Macatawa Bay Boat Works.

We were pleased to be a part of this great display, thanks to the organization of Kenn Spencer and all the members of the ACBS's Water Wonderland Chapter members who helped staff and put on the show.
