1969 Chris Craft Commander 19' - with the original
Chris Craft 327Q V-8 engine and "V" drive, professionally
rebuilt. This was the model that was the predecessor of the Chris
Craft XK-19. This hull design debuted in Commander Division in 1969
with 101 hulls produced, the Commander SS 19 had the classic chrome
beveled Chris Craft gauges and most came in the "V" drive set
up. From 1970 to 1974 it was moved to the Corsair Division and the
model name was changed to XK-19 which had a less desirable dash and gauges
as well as some other minor changes. The Commander Division models
are the ones sought after by collectors.
